Polizei-Bataillon 301

Polizei Bataillon 301 was formed in 1940 based on Polizei Ausbildungs Kompanien Bochum, Dortsmund and Recklinghausen. It moved from Bochum to Sennelager and onto Ostrow-Macziewicki and from there to Warsaw (& Komorowo). This Bataillon eventually ended up part of III./Pol.Rgt Mitte in Russia. This is a small Photograph album of an unidentified man from Polizei Bataillon 301. Locations featured include Bochum, Sennelager, Komorowo, Ostrowo Mazowiecka & Warsaw. Timeframe is 1940 - 1941. Personnel present include Curt Kaul, SS-Gruppenführer and Generalleutnant der Polizei, Dr. Ludwig Fischer, SA-Gruppenführer and Distriktgouverneur Warschau & Oberstleutnant Erich Klein.
