23rd Panzer Division (Charkow, Stalingrad).

This album charts one mans progress from the Reichsarbeitsdienst (Arbeitsdienst 5/260 Sulzbach/Murr) in 1938-1939, through to service on the WestWall (Siegfried line) to Infantry Regiment 109, of 35 Infantry Division (9.IR,109, 35 Inf div). Operation 'Sealion', (invasion of Britain) landing exercises, (Dunkirk & Belgium). Progressing through to the 101st Light Infantry Division ,formed from one third of 35th Infantry Division, posted to Prague 10th December 1940 (captioned '101.light Gebirgs division'). On to the famous 23rd Panzer Division, taking part in many of their most famous battles. Locations include Sulzbach, Murr, Eifel, Westwall, Trier, Dunkirk, Bruge, Belgium, Channel Coast, Prague, Serbia, Slovakia, Yugoslavia, Paris, Charkow (Kharkov), Terek, (including Piategorsk Mimmeracchy muisky Nalschik ordschonikidse), Rostow, outskirts of Stalingrad & K├╝hlungsborn (Austria), Darmstadt, Kleinwalsertal & Hungary.
